We understand our family and friends may have lots of questions given that this is adestination wedding, please read the Q&A below!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by the 1st of May 2026, so we can have an accurate headcount and plan accordingly!
Where is the wedding venue?
If you RSVP as attending, the venue address(es) will be provided on the physical wedding invitation card which you will receive once arrived in Viet Nam in November. I will also confirm with you via text or messenger before your arrival in Vietnam.
Where should I book my accommodation?
The Tea Ceremony will begin very early at 8:00am in Tan Binh District (Quan Tan Binh). We recommend that you book your accommodation somewhere convenient for you to travel to us early in the morning such as District 3 (Quan 3), as it is also tourist-friendly and a bit more affordable than District 1. If you would like to stay in the heart of the city in District 1, please contact Cherry to get recommendation (and maybe a discount).
When should I book my flight for?
If you are part of the bride and groom’s immediate family, or part of the bridal party, our recommendation is that you arrive on the 7th- 9th November, to allow time for outfit alterations and pre-wedding meeting(s). Please note you need to apply for a visa to travel to Vietnam, if you need help with this, contact Cherry.
Can I bring a date?
Yes, please kindly include your date when confirming your RSVP!
Are kids welcome?
Yes, please kindly include your children when tallying up total number of people attending with you in your RSVP.
What will the weather be like?
November is the end of the wet season in Ho Chi Minh, so if we are lucky, it should stay mostly dry and not too humid. There might be short, sporadic showers. Expect the weather to be averaging 25 – 28 degrees, daytime highs around 30 degrees and much cooler 23 - 24 degrees at night.
What should I wear?
Dress to impress in your finest cocktail attire.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour is outdoors. The reception will be indoors.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Dress shoes and high or low heels will be appropriate. Otherwise, please wear whatever you feel comfortable in but be mindful that flip flops are not appropriate for this occasion.
Whom should I call with questions?
If you are one of our guests from Australia, please feel free to call/text/messenger Cherry if you have any questions at anytime.
